The Community of Christ Temple is dedicated to the pursuit of peace. This sacred space offers special opportunity for encounter with the Divine. The Temple and Auditorium house the denomination's International Headquarters for more than 250,000 members in more than 50 nations. The church's mission is to "proclaim Jesus Christ and promote communities of joy, hope, love, and peace."

The Temple architecture was inspired by the spiral of the nautilus shell and is a design familiar to all cultures. Open to all people, the Temple stands as a witness to years of prayer, study, and sacrifice by people wanting to understand God's intent for humankind.
