degree now requires only 30 credit hours of coursework. This degree provides a strong academic foundation in the Bible,
Christian history, and theology. These subjects offer essential preparation
for Christian ministry and/or doctoral study in religion. Students must
attend at least one residential session (January or May/June three-week
focus session or semester-long evening course).
Note: Not all required courses are available online; attendance at several
residential sessions may be needed to complete all required courses. Be sure to
monitor Seminary course schedules when planning enrollment and selecting courses

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Team traveled to Rogers, Arkansas, to
compete in regional competition. They won their league and will be going on to
the national competition scheduled for May 13-15 in Chicago.

5 March 2008: Becky Savage, Community of Christ First Presidency, will
be the keynote speaker at the Raytown, Missouri, Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on
Thursday, March 6 at 7 a.m. She was invited by the Raytown Community Inter-Faith
Alliance, which is sponsoring the breakfast.
Becky will talk with those gathered about the Prayer for Peace service offered
at Community of Christ Temple 365 days each year at 1 p.m. central time. She
will invite all to participate with those who attend the service in Independence
as well as the many more people who join in the prayer from wherever they live.
Becky will also share our call to peace and justice in the world and offer a
prayer from a past Prayer for Peace worship.
