Children’s Mission Tithes offering envelopes will be mailed to all 8- to 12-year-old members and friends in the USA, beginning in January. Approximately 1,800 children currently receive envelopes. The World Church will provide the additional 4,500 envelopes to help engage this new generation of disciples at no cost to congregations or mission centers. The New Year is a time to re-assess where we are on our journey of life and set goals we wish to accomplish in 2012. Changes begin in the mind with our thoughts before they are implemented with the body. “Wholeness of Mind” is the latest health brief available at www.CHM.HMACofChrist.org. It discusses ways to cope and improve your mental health. “The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts” (Marcus Aurelius). Please share this information with your congregation in a class, on a bulletin board, in a newsletter, or as a bulletin insert.
