Prelude
Welcome and Invitation to Worship

“The path begins with gratitude; gratitude leads to generosity, generosity moves us in compassion for others because of our gratitude and as we respond there is a birth of wonderful, soul satisfying feelings of joy.”   Everett Graffeo

Call to Worship

One: The one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,

All: and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

One: Each of you must give as you have made up your mind,

All: not reluctantly or under pressure, for God loves a cheerful giver.

One: God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance,

All: so that by always having enough, you may share abundantly.

One: You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity,

All: Thanks be to God for this indescribable gift!

Sending Forth

"Worldwide Mission Tithes are the primary support for the global ministries of the church.  These ministries are evangelizing people; alleviating physical and spiritual poverty; and shaping communities of Christ-centered love and peace." (Steve Veazey)  Encounter joy as you make generosity a consistent spiritual practice. May God bless each of us as we learn to share what God has given us and become generous disciples with our time, talent, treasure, and testimony.
