Mission Funding Minister
Sandra J. Ferguson is a Mission Funding specialist with Community of Christ. She holds the priesthood office of bishop.
She worked as director of development at Alpha Phi Omega a national service fraternity, headquarted in Independence, Missouri, and as program coordinator for the Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership, Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), Kansas City, Missouri.
Born in Kermit, Texas, she received a master’s in public administration from UMKC, and is a Certified Estate Planner (CEP®) and a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
Sandra is a member of the Mid-America Planned Giving Council, Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, Association of Fundraising Professionals (Mid-America chapter, CFRE education committee chair), and Bingham-Waggoner Historical Society, Independence, Missouri.
Her field responsibilities include Brush Creek, Cedar Valley–Nauvoo, Chicago, Far West, Gateway, Headwaters, Kentucky–Indiana, Lamoni Heartland, Michigan, Mid-South, Oklahoma, and South Central States USA mission centers, plus selected congregations in the Central and Midlands USA mission centers
