Accepting the Cross
Good Friday Service
Worship setting: The cross should be draped in black. Candles should be
lit around the cross and all around the room. Jesus’ robe could be at the
foot of the cross. It should be quite dark in the sanctuary. Make sure readers
and participants have candles, small penlights, or another source of minimal
light.
