Blending the Sand

Use three vases: one for the bride, one for the groom, and a larger wide-mouth vase. The two smaller vases will contain colored sand (each is a separate color). One vase will be decorated in the bride’s colors and the other decorated in the groom’s colors. During the minister’s remarks, the bride and groom will simultaneously pour sand from their vases into the larger one making a new color.
