In Russia, many young adults are finding hope in the Community of Christ message and mission expressed in worship and fellowship.

The North Atlantic Mission Field is focused on outreach to young adults and youth and ministry to immigrants. There has been great response in Russia and Ukraine, where new congregations are being started and new members are baptized with regularity. Efforts are currently under way to plant the church in Odessa, Ukraine, with the help of Elder Anatoliy Huralskyy from Kiev.

Len Young, North Atlantic Mission Field apostle, said, “World Ministries Mission Tithes help support seven church planters/missionaries in Russia and Ukraine and outreach programs in Western Europe, the British Isles, and the northeastern part of the United States.”

In Maine (USA), Hispanic ministries are bringing hope to migrant workers. The church has helped by bringing a full-time missionary from Nicaragua to assist local ministers in reaching migrant workers and their families. In the British Isles there is active outreach to South Asian residents. Seventies Sam Kumar and Rick James have helped lay the groundwork for a significant effort to reach out to Indians who live there.
