Thousands of people tour the Temple in Independence, Missouri, each year. Volunteer Paul Hansen (center) guides these visitors from Canada. Additional funding would make it possible to expand this ministry to better reach out to visitors from the many nations of the world by offering self-directed audio tours in several languages.

World Ministries Mission Tithes further enhance field ministry by funding more centralized support and services. World Church leadership and its support—Human Resource Ministries, Leadership Development, Temple Ministries, and special projects—account for 11 percent of the budget. International Headquarters services and projects are 31 percent of the budget. Grants to organizations that complement our efforts to proclaim Jesus Christ and promote communities of joy, hope, love, and peace, and other services that support the worldwide church are 8 percent.

We Are Called…

Lives are being changed each day thanks to your generosity through World Ministries Mission Tithes. We are called to build on this success. If we each answer the challenge to share equally with Congregation and World Ministries Mission Tithes by increasing our giving according to our true capacity, we will continue to answer the call to expand the ministries of the church throughout the world.
