Children enjoy a vibrant
vacation Bible school in august at the Tecate, Mexico, congregation. |
Thriving Hispanic Ministries
Gina Norton, Pacific Mission Field missionary coordinator, said, “It’s been a
blessing and a life-transforming experience as I travel to share my testimony of
Jesus, bring people to Christ, baptize them, and walk with them as they go along
the path of the disciple.”
There is now a thriving congregation in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, and a
church plant is being started in La Paz, Baja California. Gina also holds
Spanish-language worship services at the Chula Vista congregation in San Diego,
California, USA.
The Escondido congregation, north of San Diego, has an afternoon program for
children. Gina said, “I have been able to assist Bobby Rastle to minister to the
children. All of this and more is possible because of your generous response to
World Ministries Mission Tithes.”
She noted that “there is still a great need for Hispanic ministers, and your
continued offerings are needed. There are many people hungering for God’s love
and the peace of Jesus Christ. Your generous response will help us to help
people find Christ in their lives so they, too, can walk the path of the
disciple.”

Children from a neighborhood
in Sacaba, Bolivia, are so excited about worshiping and learning
together that they line up to wait for the gate to open for a
Saturday gathering facilitated by several Community of Christ young
adults. Activities are similar to vacation Bible school and are held
in the home of full-time minister Simon Copa and his family. |
