Several building projects have been supported in the Dominican Republic, including those at Jaquimelles (above) and Santa Fe. |
Rick Maupin, apostle to the Caribbean, Mexico, Texas Mission Field, noted that in many parts of this field resources are quite limited. Therefore, World Ministries Mission Tithes provide much-needed assistance for ongoing programming such as pastoral leaders training and an annual youth camp in the Dominican Republic.
Funding has also benefited the church in Aruba, which has been established for many years while meeting in rented facilities. To meet the needs of this congregation, money has been made available for the Aruba Church to purchase a building or buy land on which to build.
Field missionary coordinator Seventy Ruben Landeros has been focusing his time on networking with other budget-supported missionary church planters in the six countries that make up this field to give more focused support to additional missionary opportunities.
