World Conference — April 10-17, 2010

Theme: We Share

In Community of Christ, when we become disciples of Jesus, we do not just become members of a local congregation. We become members of a worldwide faith community. The 2010 World Conference theme, "We Share," will focus us on what we share with one another as members and participants in Community of Christ and our call and commitment to share our witness, ministries, sacraments, resources, and message with the world.

An important focus will be exploration of guidance the First Presidency will share before Conference regarding Conditions of Membership. Join in that discernment process now and share your feedback with the Presidency by November 30.

Joseph Smith IIIAll are invited to experience the blessings of community with your sisters and brothers from around the world. We will also celebrate the 150th anniversary of the 1860 conference, where Joseph Smith III accepted his prophetic calling. His fifty years of wise, pastoral, visionary leadership provided the tone and direction that continue to shape the church. Come to International Headquarters to participate in worship, discernment, and decisions for our future as we continue to become who God is calling us to be.

Online registration for the 2010 World Conference will be available later this year. Watch this site for further information.

Colossians 3:15-16...let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body.  And be thankful.  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.

Doctrine and Covenants 163:2b
Generously share the invitation, ministries, and sacraments through which people can encounter the Living Christ who heals and reconciles through redemptive relationships in sacred community.

We Share
Today, we understand this as the call to share the peace of Jesus Christ in all of its personal, interpersonal, community, and worldwide dimensions.
