World Conference 2007 Highlights
Share Christ, Share Peace
These worship helps include suggestions on how to
incorporate the World Conference highlights video and Words of Counsel to
the Church as presented by President Veazey on the DVD in mission center
conferences, reunions, camps, congregational worship services or other
appropriate venues.
May the Holy Spirit bless your gatherings with the
awareness and confirmation of the powerful Presence made available to the
church through this World Conference experience.

You will need a chime or
bell and a candle with matches. Suggest to the congregation that
they free their hands. You may want to offer a word of explanation to help
participants feel comfortable with the symbols, motions and language used
in this ritual. The chime or bell sounds a call to prayer; the ‘peace’
candle is lit to signify our church’s ongoing commitment to share Christ’s
peace; the language is crafted from ancient texts as well as Restoration
scripture.
