B-2 World Church Finance Board
To the World Conference:
In harmony with World Conference Resolution 1255, the elected members of the
World Church Finance Board elected a nominating committee composed of Geoffrey
M. Ivers (chair), John T. Baller, Ruurd Leegstra, Hiroshi Matsushita, and Dale
R. Ward. This committee places in nomination the following persons for election
to the World Church Finance Board for six-year terms ending June 30, 2013.
- Gilbert B. Alberti: Lincoln, Nebraska; certified public
accountant, previously chief financial officer, vice president finance
and administration, Pitney Bowes Management Services, Prairie Bluffs USA
Mission Center; high priest; 60, male.
- George E. Barber: Texarkana, Arkansas; retired from John
Deere Seeding Group, contract administration, cost negotiation, quality,
and supplier development, Ark-La-Tex USA Mission Center president; high
priest; 56, male.
- Durkje (Ditty) M. Bokma: Zwaagwesteinde, Netherlands; runs an
accounting office, providing accountancy services for businesses and
individuals; auditor of Outreach Europe; priest; 42, female.
- Andrew M. Fox: Clay Cross, England. British Isles youth
minister, former systems analyst and programmer of financial systems,
former teacher of mathematics and computing; Seventy; 44, male.
- Cynthia C. Hatch: Mesa, Arizona; medical billings and
collections, accounts payable, accounts receivable; elder; 49, female.
- Bradley G. Johnson: Overland Park, Kansas; 25 years in
business development & mergers, Prudential Financial; elder; 54, male.
- Marjorie G. Martens: Louisville, Colorado; BS in Nursing,
MBA, McKesson Health Solutions, Quality Manager; Rocky Mountain USA

- Lucia M. Piehi: Papeete, Tahiti; Travel Agent as Product
Assistant Manager; Financial Officer Assistant & Treasurer of Tiona
congregation; elder; 36, female.
- Helen M. Taylor: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; former
sales assistant and part manager of furniture and floor covering
business; Australia Region Office, administrative assistant, pastor,
Australia Mission Centre; high priest; 50, female.
- K. Michael Zabel: Lawrence, Kansas; Medical Director for
Cardiology Services and Chairman of the Cardiology Division at Lawrence
Memorial Hospital, Cardiovascular Consultant at St. Luke’s Hospital of
Kansas City, scientific reviewer for medical journals, Principle
Investigator on several research projects; elder; 45, male.
