Volunteer Ministries
I
would like to sound a call for a new wave of volunteering . . . particularly in
response to the need for volunteers at International Headquarters and at
Historic Sites. —Stephen M. Veazey, President

There are many ways volunteers can provide significant ministry. Volunteers provide valuable service at Community of Christ International
Headquarters in Independence, Missouri. Some of the areas of opportunity
include: receptionist, tour guide, Ikebana flower arranging, library assistants,
chaplain services,
and daily prayer for peace.

As

serve as guides, gardeners, maintenance, housekeeping, and retail sales at
the Community of Christ historic sites—Kirtland,
Ohio; Liberty Hall in Lamoni, Iowa; Nauvoo, Illinois.

There are opportunities for both short-term and long-term worldwide volunteer

New opportunities continue
to emerge. If you do not see a position that you desire, we encourage you to
call and suggest ways the church could benefit from your abilities.
