Temple Sanctuary
The sanctuary is the largest room in the Temple. It can accommodate 1,600 people for services of worship. The ceiling rises more than 195 feet above the main floor reflecting the spiral form of the exterior. Events in the sanctuary might involve a few individuals in modest meditation or a full house worship service. Many people use this sacred space to express their gratitude to God.
A Daily Prayer for Peace is held each day, seven days a week, at 1:00 p.m. central time, 365 days a year at the Community of Christ Temple. This prayer is offered by people of all ages, many faiths, and in many different languages.
