Approval Process

The Tangible Love Committee meets at Community of Christ World Headquarters in Independence, Missouri, two or three times a year—generally in April and November.

The Team currently has eleven members, appointed by the First Presidency to serve until replaced. This Team administers both Tangible Love and World Hunger grants and meets twice a year, usually in April and November.

The committee has the authority to approve projects that have been submitted within guidelines and annual dollar limits that have been approved by the Mission Support Fund Committee.

About 20 percent of the annual contributions to the Oblation Fund are used for this ministry.
