Approval Process
The Tangible Love Committee meets at Community of Christ World
Headquarters in Independence, Missouri, two or three times a year—generally in
April and November.
There are nine members plus two co-chairs and a staff secretary. Each member
serves a three-year term. Three members cycle off the committee and are
replaced each January.
The committee has the authority to approve projects that have been submitted
within guidelines and annual dollar limits that have been approved by the
Mission Support Fund Committee.
About 20 percent of the annual contributions to the Oblation Fund are used
for this ministry.
Sincere appreciation is extended to each one whose contributions to Oblation
has made it possible to fund these significant projects.
