Mission Funding Minister
Greg Savage is an executive minister on the Community of Christ Estate and Gift Planning Team. He is a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG) and holds the priesthood office of bishop.
His past assignments include financial officer for the Florida USA and Southeast USA mission centers. He also shared his time between pastoring the Stone Church Congregation and assisting the Central USA Mission Center with disciples’ generous response ministry.
Born in Chelan, Washington, Greg received a bachelor of arts with majors in social studies and sociology from Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa; a master of arts in education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City; and a master of arts in religion from Community of Christ Seminary.
Greg was a licensed counselor; director of the Family Continuity Program in St. Petersburg, Florida; and foster care director at the Kaw Valley Center of Wyandotte House in Kansas. He also shared ministry with Park College as the religious life director.
His field responsibilities include Alabama–Northwest Florida, Ark-la-Tex , Bountiful, Chesapeake Bay, Eastern Great Lakes, Florida, Gulf, Mid-Atlantic, New England, Southeast, and Western Ohio USA mission centers, plus selected congregations in the Central and Midlands USA mission centers.
