Housing is always a tight situation. We recognize the dorms get very hot and
crowded. Please continue to encourage your campers that this is only one week,
and we’re not the deluxe hotel accommodations. However, the fellowship and
friendships gained are immeasurable. PLEASE get your numbers to us, male and
female, as soon as possible. Keep updating these numbers so we can provide as
adequately as possible.
Should you find as you receive your housing assignments that a mistake may
have been made, please be patient with the SPEC staff. It is not an easy task,
and we try our best. We will work through all situations to give everyone a
place to sleep.
Participation Bracelets
In the past these have been called “food bracelets,” but we
recognize these do so much more. As we look to our mission statement that says
that we will provide a safe environment…these bracelets help identify those
persons who are officially with our camp, and who we feel have safe contact with
each person here. These are a must-wear at all times. Throughout the week,
sweat, showers and general wear can cause these to break or come to a point
where they can be lost. Please stop by the SPEC office and we will gladly
replace them - broken bracelets can be exchanged for a new one free; lost
bracelets are replaced for $10. Please be responsible with your bracelets.
