TENNIS

Tournament - Girls Singles, Boys Singles, Coed Doubles
Divisions – Gold, Red, Green, Blue
Players who are high school varsity tennis team members must play in the Gold
Division. All tournaments will be single elimination.
Each player will be asked to rate themselves on a 1 to 10 scale (10=best) to
facilitate seeding.
There will be a GOLD, RED, GREEN, and BLUE division in each tournament where
entries allow. Players may enter a maximum of two tennis tournaments.
FORMAT:
- No add scoring
- 10 game pro match (first player to 10 games – win by two); Gold will be
normal scoring best of three.
- Matches which are scheduled must be played or a forfeit will be declared
the next morning.
- Semis and finals will use regular scoring in play – best 2 of 3.
Match pairings and court times will be listed on the tournament posters.
Check the posters early each day and often. You must report at the match time or
send a representative to reschedule the match on the same day or your opponent
will be allowed to advance. All results should be reported to the coordinator or
a double forfeit will be assumed.
NO MORNING PLAY WILL BE ALLOWED.
Tournament play will be priority on the courts.
Semi Final and Final matches: Matches will be scheduled and announced so
spectators may attend. Balls will be provided. All play will be completed before
Friday. Delegation team champs will be determined by a point system including
all tournaments.
