Youth Leadership Program

The Community of Christ Youth Leadership Program (CCYLP) week will be divided so that all the participants are together on days one and two.  On days three through five, participants may select one track to follow. An action plan will be completed on Thursday in class in all three sections. The tracks are:  

• The Personal Ministry emphasis: concepts of leadership, leadership styles, general diversity, mentor relationships.
   
• The Congregation/Youth emphasis: team building, shared leadership, using positive language, congregational ministries, youth group ministries, diversity of gifts, and mentor relationships.
   
• The World Ministries emphasis: diversity of groups around the world, what unifies the world church, and how decision making excludes or includes others. 
   

Sunday – Theme Day (All Together)

Monday – Knowing Yourself Day (MfS, Spiritual Gifts or EQ – one a year in that order)

Tuesday – Content Day (Personal Ministry, Congregation/Youth Group, or World – choose one track, a different one each year)

Wednesday – Content Day (Personal Ministry, Congregation/Youth Group, or World – choose one track, a different one each year)

Thursday – Action Plan Day (Personal Ministry, Congregation/Youth Group, or World – choose one track, a different one each year)
