Members of the Missionary Team

The Missionary Team is made up of the following individuals and also consists of
field missionary coordinators and other specialists both at International Headquarters and in the field.

Bob Kyser

Bob has been a World Church Minister since 1977. He currently serves the church as Missionary Team Leader, Senior President of Seventy, and World Church Coordinator for Church Planting. These and other ministerial responsibilities support the missionary efforts of the church at large. Currently he works with others in the promotion of Gospel Wagon Ministries, a series of resources in support of witnessing with and by children of all ages.

Rebecca P. Reiss

Rebecca P. Reiss is the administrative assistant to the Senior President of Seventy and Missionary Ministries Coordinator, serving in Independence, Missouri, since 1998. Prior to her employment with the Community of Christ, Becky served in secretarial and accounting positions for private industry and accounting positions for private industry and 20 years U.S. Federal Civilian Government (4 of which were in Germany, working for the U.S. Army).

If you have submitted grant proposals, chances are they were on Becky's desk for a little while as they were being processed for Mission Implementation Committee review. She tracks fund balances and organizes the office records for easy access. She also maintains the Seventy Directory. She holds the priesthood office of deacon.

Tammy Lindle

Tammy Lindle, a staff executive of the Community of Christ, serves as the missionary leadership development specialist at International Headquarters. She coordinates the development, production, and education of missionary and discipleship materials for members and friends of the Community of Christ. She is also tasked with assisting in pastor and priesthood leadership development. This includes coordinating the Congregational LIFE Workshop in Lamoni, Iowa, and issues relating to Temple School courses for priesthood preparation and discipleship development. She also serves as a member of the Co-Missioned Pastor Initiative team.

She previously served as an education and editorial specialist in Temple School, where she assisted in the editorial review of materials produced by Field Resources as well as the development, maintenance, and teaching of Temple School courses and related materials. She holds the priesthood office of elder.

A native of Independence, Missouri, Tammy attended Central Missouri State University and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in organizational communications. She holds a master of liberal arts degree from Baker University and a master of arts in religion degree from Graceland University.

She is married to Jeff Lindle. She enjoys group activities, gardening, visiting museums, attending movies, and a variety of outdoor activities.
