April 13, 1918 Loyalty to U.S. Government in World War IThat as citizens of the United States, we hereby reaffirm our belief in and fidelity to the Constitution and laws of the United States, and as officers and delegates of this, the sixty-fifth General Conference of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, hereby denounce all organizations of any name or character which have expressed opposition to, or sought to hinder the administration of the Government's purposes in the conducting of the present war; and unreservedly express our loyalty to and support of the United States Government in its conducting of the war against the Teutonic allies, humbly praying God's blessing on the allied cause so that complete victory may bring to us an enduring peace, preparing the way for the coming of the kingdom of God.
