Interpersonal Peacemaking

As we are called to be "ensigns of peace" within our congregations and communities, the World Church Reconciliation/Conflict Resolution Ministries is offering training that will enhance our abilities to create and sustain positive relationships with each other.

Because God created each of us uniquely, we have differences. This 15-hour training helps people understand themselves in the midst of differences and discover how the strengths of differences can help us be less conflicted and more productive. These concepts are presented through personal assessments, activities, and discussion. The middle section of the training works on communication skills helpful in dealing with differences. The final part of the training gives the participants a model for decision making. Participants leave this training with understandings and exposure to skills that enable them to share concerns, deepen relationships, and be examples of zionic living. Participants will have gained knowledge and skills to assist them in going directly to another person with whom they are having a difference and working toward a resolution.

This training is a fifteen hour course. This would be especially helpful for evangelist and teacher priesthood members.
