Fear leads to violence. Friendship leads to peace. You
are warmly invited to the 2005 Colloquy to encounter people of other
faiths first hand and explore different understandings of divine mystery
and ways of life. Come and learn of practical ways to build bridges of
appreciation and trust. In your encounter with others discover your own
faith in a deeper way. As Mark Heim wrote: “Those who know only their
own religion, know none… Those who are not decisively committed to one
faith, know no others.” The struggle is not yet over. This Colloquy will help
disciples and seekers learn to make a difference in healing of the
spirit, reconciliation, and pursuing peace and justice for all.
