E-Group Meetings

Enrichment group meetings will be held at regular times on Wednesday, March 25. Please make plans to attend your specific e-group meeting.

April 5 Address to the Church

“There are many issues that could easily consume the time and energy of the church. However, the challenge before a prophetic people is to discern and pursue what matters most for the journey ahead” (Doctrine and Covenants 163:11b).

As we prepare for the 2010 World Conference, the church faces many critical issues that could distract us from God’s mission for Community of Christ.  Prophet-President Stephen M. Veazey will address these issues in a major address to the church on Sunday, April 5 at 7 p.m. CDT, at the Temple in Independence, Missouri.

The church is urged to participate in person and via webcast.  The address will be presented in English, French, and Spanish.

Please join the World Church Leadership Council in prayerful support of this significant address to the church.

Questions & Answers: Address to the Church

Thank you for encouraging people to participate in President Steve Veazey’s address to the church on April 5. Because we recognize that you are the most important communicators of this message, we want to provide helpful information for you to share.

The questions and answers will help us all provide a consistent message to the church about the purpose of the April 5 address to the church.

Team Training

The recent team training by Todd Long of the Pryor Institute for Leadership was very well-received. For anyone who could not attend a previous training there is one more opportunity to take part on May 14.

Participation in this transformative training event is an expectation for all IHQ staff. Training takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and snacks are provided. Lunch will be on your own. Please RSVP to Helen Reynolds at ext. 2465.

Thank you for being part of this wonderful team called IHQ!
