connecting the Community of Christ staff community
Thanks-Living
Everyone
has two hands, and this year we’re asking each one to give generously for the
benefit of the Independence Community Services League Food Pantry. What
would it look like if each individual gave something from each hand – 2 cans of
tuna, 2 boxes of cereal, 2 bottles of juice or 2 bags of groceries.
Donation barrels are available in the Auditorium West foyer and the Temple
break room through Monday, November 24. As you shop this weekend remember our
Independence neighbors and what your two hands could share in a life of
thanks-living!
Welcome
We are pleased to welcome Greg Clark to the IHQ staff as the new copy editor.
Greg joins the Multimedia Publishing Team located in the Auditorium, 4th floor,
east side, after more than thirty years with the Kansas City Star; most recently
serving as an Assistant City Editor. We are excited to have Greg as a part
of the IHQ family.
Open Enrollment
Health and Dental Benefit Open Enrollment will begin November 12 and will
close November 30. Human Resource Ministries has sent individual information

Thread Project
The
Thread Project encourages diversity, tolerance and compassionate community
through the uniqe stories woven into each panel. The project is on display in
the Temple foyer for the next year as it awaits a permanent home at the National
Peace Center in Washington, D.C. The Thread Project came to be at the Temple
through their connection with the Community of Christ Peace Support Network.

We invite you to find out more at
www.threadproject.com and click on
“story threads.”
Transfer Folder Use
The Transfer Folder on the M:drive is intended to be a space that allows
