Open Enrollment
Today is the last day to change your benefits during the
open enrollment period.
It’s important that everyone evaluate their current
benefits and even if no changes are necessary, it is still essential to log on
to the self-service site and step through the enrollment process. If you have
questions, please e-mail hrm@CofChrist.org.
Holiday Open House
Food, fun and fellowship are the order of the day at the
Holiday Open House on December 5, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Food, fun, and fellowship
will make this an afternoon to remember. Take time to visit with friends new and
old throughout the complex as you check out areas you may not have visited for a
while.
A scavenger hunt is in the works (more details to come).
Make plans now to decorate your office suite area and if you’d like to provide
munchies to share please feel free to make these available as we celebrate the
joy of this season.
Advent Worship
Please join us for a celebration of the advent season on
Sunday, December 9 at 7 p.m. in the Temple sanctuary. This worship will feature
the students and staff from the music department of Graceland University. This
worship will be available as a live webcast and details can be found at
www.CofChrist.org/broadcast/upcoming.asp.
A reception organized by Graceland will be held after the
worship. This is a perfect opportunity to meet with friends and colleagues in an
informal setting.
Blood Donations
The Community Blood Center will be at International
Headquarters in the lower assembly room of the Auditorium on Monday, December
10, from 9 a.m.–2 p.m., for a blood drive. There is no substitute for blood. It
has to come from one person in order to give to another. A critical number of
voluntary donations are required every day to meet the need for blood in the
areas we serve.
Every blood donation counts. Please e-mail
sknapp@CofChrist.org or call Claire
Smith at ext. 2136 to schedule a blood donation appointment.
Holiday Closings
International Headquarters will be closed during the
Christmas break from Monday, December 24 through Tuesday, January 1.
Technology Support Tools and Tips
The Technology Support team has created some tips and tools
about some of the technology options at the IHQ complex. These include a way to
search for extensions by last name, changing the busy setting on Outlook and
more. Check out http://ts/tsweb/index.htm
for these topics and more.
January Enrichment Group Meetings
Enrichment Group meetings in January are scheduled for
Wednesday, January 9, when Wim van Klinken, Director of International
Headquarters, will meet with each group.
Photos Around Headquarters
Thanks to Dirk Ellingson for taking some great photos as
our roving photographer.

with garland and poinsettias.

New artificial poinsettias can be seen in the
Temple foyer and on the main staircase. These gorgeous flowers will
continue to look beautiful through several holiday seasons to come.

 |
 |
There was a flurry of decorating this morning all around
headquarters as the Christmas trees were dressed in all their holiday
finery.
