IHQ Work Schedules
The International Headquarters staff is comprised of a diverse group of
people with a variety of skills and job tasks who are located around the world.
Due to the diverse nature of IHQ positions, completing all work during the 8 to
5 workday is not always practical or possible. There are instances when assigned
tasks require work to be accomplished offsite such as research, site visits,
teaching assignments, etc. As we settle into our different office spaces with
new colleagues, take a few minutes to learn more about your co-workers jobs and
how those tasks impact their office hours.
Kudos from Park University
Our Event Support staff was asked to provide a live video feed from the Park
University graduation on Saturday, December 16, to a soldier in Iraq who was to
graduate. This was a two-way feed with video and audio going to Iraq and coming
back from the soldier to be live in the Chamber. It was not an easy request but
was a great success. The team received many kudos from Park University.
“Great job on Saturday for the Park University Graduation
Commencement! You gave 1st Sergeant Palechek and his family a wonderful
gift through your time and expertise. I extend my deepest appreciation
to each and every one of you for making it all reality.”
James R. Tucker, Associate Director of Telecommunications, Park
University
New Navigation at CofChrist.org
The Web team has been dialoging and planning over the last several months for
an update to the main navigation bar at
www.CofChrist.org website.
The new global navigation menu was developed to simplify the navigation and
make our visitor’s experience more user-friendly. Information has been grouped
in seven categories: Home, Our Faith, Our Community, Tools for Ministry, Events,
News, and Directories. As always, you can use the Google search feature to help
find items that may not be listed in the dropdown menu.
Visit the website and take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the new
menu system. If you need to contact the Web team, e-mail
webteam@CofChrist.net.

New IHQ Contact List
An updated staff list for International Headquarters is available online at
www.CofChrist.org/directory/ihqdirectory.asp. This list includes names,
titles, phone extensions, and e-mail addresses.
Changes to Mail Service
- Mail to the Independence Graceland Campus or Outreach International
should be in an addressed envelope or package so it can be mailed through
the USPS.
- Mail boxes need to be checked at least a couple of times a week. If a
mail box becomes too full, overflow mail will be placed in a box in the
general mail room.
- Please don't put large bulky items in inter-office mail. Please deliver
them personally.
- Once mail goes to the mailing company there is not a method to track it
and neither can the mailing company.
