During an extended tour of Africa in late 2002,
President W. Grant McMurray (left) and Apostles Linda Booth and Bunda
Chibwe made many new friends, both giving and receiving ministry as
they crossed the continent. The 2004 church budget allocates travel
funds for World Church ministers.

The church is currently officially established or has a
recognized presence in forty-four nations of the world. Initial contact has been
established in twelve additional nations.

Bishop Steve Jones participates in a children's
class during a conference held in Bolivia. In fiscal year 2003 members
of the Presiding Bishopric flew more than 48,000 miles and drove more
than 25,000 miles to minister in the field.
