Graceland’s Congregational Matching Grant Increased by Five
Hundred Dollars
The maximum award for Graceland University’s Congregational Matching Grant
program has been increased from $1,000 to $1,500 per student, per academic year.
Community of Christ and Graceland recently agreed to the increase.
Any congregation may authorize an amount up to $1,500 for a new or current
Graceland student, and Graceland will match that amount. Fund sources may
include memorial funds, youth fund-raisers, and special offerings. Families of
the student may participate by giving to the fund as long as they are not the
major contributor. The church has complete discretion to determine the recipient
and amount of the award.
Notification of awards will be sent to students as part of the financial-aid
award process. Applications must be received no later than July 1, 2007. The
forms can be printed from Graceland’s Web site.
For further details about the program, current students should speak with
their financial aid adviser. Prospective students and parents are invited to
call toll-free: 1-866-GRACELAND; e-mail:
admissions@graceland.edu; or visit
www.graceland.edu/financialaid.
Send your application to Graceland University, Financial Aid Services, 1
University Place, Lamoni, IA 50140.
