Celebrate the Christmas season at Community of Christ Historic Sites in
Nauvoo, Illinois, on December 13. Enjoy dinner in the homes of Joseph and Emma
Smith and tour significant sites of the town. Be transported back in time and
learn what life was like in 1843 Nauvoo with a narrated carriage ride down on
the flats in the 1840s historic area. Take advantage of the shopping stop at
Joseph's Red Brick Store where participants will receive a 20 percent discount
on purchases.

Christmas dinner will begin with appetizers at the Homestead, the main
course in the Nauvoo House, and dessert in the Mansion House. The evening will
conclude with a pops concert complete with a Christmas sing-along and visit
from Santa Claus who will have a gift for everyone there.
Festivities will begin at 5:00 p.m. and end by 9:00 p.m. The $50 per person
cost for this event is a fund-raiser for Nauvoo's Joseph Smith Historic Site.
