Join the World Church in the Temple sanctuary or via satellite on March 4 for a World Hunger Emphasis service that will be broadcast live at 6:45 p.m. central time. Through a combination of testimonies, homily, and giving “this service will explore our personal responsibilities toward the hungry, and some creative opportunities for response,” explained Eileen Terril, Worship Ministries.

The first Sundays in March and September each year, all undesignated offerings are allocated to the church’s World Hunger Fund as a way to focus on helping alleviate hunger, locally and worldwide. During the March 4 evening service, all donations will go to the World Hunger Fund. Worshipers are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be given to their local food pantries.
