International Friendships

The newest International Friendship Club in Tambov, Russia, drew more than 150 young adults with diverse ethnic heritages to its first gathering. The club received a startup grant from the Missionary Development Fund, and Irina Konnova and Kristina Leonova are excited to bring leadership to the club in their city of 200,000 people.

“We are very excited about beginning to share the peace of Christ with many young people in Tambov,” said Irina. “They are hungry to learn about the ways of peace, the cultures of different nations, and better ways to live in the modern world.” These teachings are transformational in the lives of youth who participate as they begin to see each other as unique and beloved children of God.
