Experiencing Generosity

World Service Corps volunteers have served in more than 30 locations, and the program is proving to be a powerful way young adults can serve, learn, and deepen their discipleship with Christ.

Katie Harmon and Kory Rillos served in South India. Kory said, “The people Katie and I met offered us everything they had…. They have so little, yet give with their whole hearts.”

“Being in India made me realize I am not very generous with my money or time. As I went through my six weeks in India, something in me changed,” said Kory. “I realized I was there to learn—about a new culture, the difference between a want and a need, to love completely, and to share from the depths of my soul. I learned to be generous in ways I never knew existed.”
