preacherAdvocate, Assist, Mentor

Three years ago, full-time minister Otis Hardy was assigned to Moss Point, Mississippi, to plant an African-American congregation. Seventy percent of Moss Point’s residents are African-American, with 45 percent dropping out of school before graduating. Otis and his leadership team understand their call to advocate for and assist with programs that develop disciples through the mentoring of children, youth, and families.

With a core group of dedicated members, Otis and his wife, Wynella, grew a small house church into a congregation of more than 60 and are dramatically impacting the community with peace and justice initiatives.
