The Library has several database sites available in the library
that can also be accessed from your personal computer.
Proquest
may be used to look up magazine and newspaper articles. Items may be
searched by word, by publication, or by topic. Articles as far back as
1986 may be accessed. A choice may be made as to whether to print or view
the entire article or just an abstract.
First Search
can be accessed by clicking on databases (list all), a list of all the available
databases will appear. Book titles, journal articles, facts and
statistics, government publications, Internet resources, etc. are available at
this site. The American Theological Library Association database can be
found now at the First Search site. This database searches for
religious articles.
Another helpful link would be
Books
in Print. This is another way to look up books available for purchase
or to find the exact title/author.
