What songs best capture the identity, message, and mission of the Community of Christ?

This is an important question at this particular time in our church’s history. As was announced in August 2008, a two-piece hymnal set is being developed for use in Community of Christ congregations. 	August – October 15, 2008	Worship & Rejoice hymnal review
	August – December 31, 2008	Community of Christ online hymnal survey
	October 2008 – April 15, 2009	Open submission
	October 2008 – January 2011	Specific topic assignments, international song collection, and research
	May 2009 – January 2011	Hymn selection process Field tests
	January 2011 – March 2013	Copyright permissions, hymnal production
	2013 World Conference	Hymnal launch and order fulfillment
	Summer of 2013 –summer of 2016	Distribution and implementation: We anticipate visiting every mission center to introduce the resources.
