• We have made a difference. Since 1980, the World Hunger Fund Committee has distributed $8,389,664 through 601 requested grants in 36 countries.
  
• More than $500,000 was contributed to the World Hunger Fund in 2004.
  
• World Hunger Fund contributions fund projects sponsored and administered by Outreach International, www.outreach-international.org, and World Accord (Canada), www.worldaccord.org.
  
• Just since 1999, disaster relief efforts have been supported in Afghanistan, Congo, El Salvador, Haiti, India, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Kosovo, Liberia, Lodwar, Malawi, Mozambique, Sri Lanka, and Turkey.
  
• Local food pantry initiatives have been funded in Buffalo, New York; Orlando, Florida; Miami, Florida; Rio Grande Valley, Texas; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Stockton, California; Breathitt County, Kentucky; and Marina, California.
