World Hunger and Tangible Love Team

The World Hunger and Tangible Love Team meets two times per year in Independence, Missouri to consider requests for funding. The majority of disbursements are made through Outreach International and World Accord, organizations with ties to Community of Christ.

Contributions are also made for emergency hunger relief following disasters to organizations such as The International Red Cross, Oxfam America, Mercy Corps International, and others. Direct funding to local congregations or jurisdictions for food pantries and other hunger-related projects are also provided. 

The World Hunger and Tangible Love Team members are appointed by the First Presidency to serve until replaced. This team administers both World Hunger and Tangible Love grants and meets twice a year, usually in April and November.
