Requests Originating with World Accord
Sap Nepal. Provides funds to a national training organization that
serves to enhance local capacities through promotion of micro-finance,
agro-based enterprises and institutional development. $45,045US
World Accord Core Funding. Supports the mission of World Accord by
granting funds specifically for use by administration, thereby releasing more
resources for direct aid to programs in developing countries. $30,000US
World Accord Development Education. Proposes to introduce World Accord
to more people through the creation of 15 minute video programs to be shown in
churches, school, and to new donors. $14,864US
ADCASMUS- El Salvador. Train displaced families in organic
farming methods as part of a program to develop self-sufficiency among
displaced families living on poor, unproductive land. $27,027US
PAG Honduras. Laying hens and honey bees project for women living on
hillside farms. $18,291US
PRR Honduras. Ongoing, expanding development program in area
surrounding La Buena Fe aimed at increasing capacity of small farmers.

microenterprise program assisting rural families to market their farm products

Request Originating with Outreach International
Oikocredit Special Grant. OI serves as an agent to invest a World
Hunger grant in shares of Oikocredit, an international organization formed
to provide small loans to persons in developing countries. $10,000US
On-line Advocacy Program. Develop an on-line advocacy program to
make available information related to issues of hunger and poverty,
directed primarily at young adults. $10,000US

Sinoe County, Liberia Rural Reconstruction. Provide assistance in
restoring and rebuilding community water pumps, farm implements, and
providing seeds for replanting crops. $18,000US
Family Life Outreach (Hot Springs, AR). Provide direct food aid and
nutrition training for homeless persons in Hot Springs community.
