Requests Originating with World Accord
Mujeres en Accion- Guatemala. Capacity building and
micro-enterprise support for indigenous, rural women in Guatemala. The
majority of projects are based in agriculture, with the aim of increasing
household food security. $19,491US
Programa Esperanza Recuperacion Comunitaria- El Salvador. A
program to develop family self-sufficiency, improve self-determination,
instruct in home gardens in re-populated areas where land is poor. $21,186US
SAP- Nepal. A national training program serving to enhance
local capacities among rural farmers in small villages in Nepal. $42,373US
Proyecto Aldea Global- Honduras. Provide women living on
hillside farms with honey bees or laying hens, both to increase food security
and establish small business enterprises. $35,000US
Programa de Reconstrucion Rural- Honduras. On-going ,
expanding project to improve community well-being and assure food security
around the La Buena Fe area. $60,082US
World Accord Core Funding. Strengthen program systems and
operations by directly applying these funds to administrative support.

Requests Originating with Outreach International
- Oikocredit USA. Provide micro-credit opportunities for small businesses,
farms, and other forms of enterprise in developing countries. $10,000
Direct Requests
- Community Services League of Eastern Jackson County (Missouri).
Provides funding for additional cold storage of perishables in the CSL food
pantries. $7,030

Note: It was reported to the committee that $2,500 was granted to the South
Miami Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry (Florida) and $5,000 to the Haiti Mission
Center in September 2005 for hurricane disaster relief, by executive action.
