2010 World Conference Human Rights Team Report

Commissioned to  "listen to the voice for the voiceless." —Desmond Tutu

The Human Rights Team was established by World Conference action in 1984 (enabling legislation - WCR 1184, 1197) to focus attention on human rights issues from a faith perspective, serving as a forum for church members, supporting congregationally-based activities, and listening to "the voice of the voiceless" (Desmond Tutu). The team is made up of persons from five countries on four continents.
