is not an an endowed foundation. While they do offer a limited number of
grants to help community-based organizations expand or improve their
revitalization efforts, there is not a regular grant cycle or standard
proposal. Most of the grants are available only to nonprofits located in
cities in which they already have active programs. Contact the Enterprise
office nearest you for more information on applying for a grants.

programs, support groups, and abuse shelters. Family violence prevention
benefits the entire community by building strong families, creating healthy

The U.S. Bancorp Foundation giving program is designed to respect the
diversity of the communities where they operate. They are actively involved
in our communities, partnering with local nonprofits to meet specific needs

Development includes Housing and Community Facilities Programs to help
rural communities and individuals by providing loans and grants for housing
and community facilities. They provide funding for single family homes,
apartments for low-income persons or the elderly, housing for farm laborers,

homes, schools, and much more.

homelessness, housing counseling and foreclosure, and supportive

Ridge Ministries is an independent Lutheran charitable organization that
provides support for Community Service Ministries impacts the health of
people who are at-risk in urban centers and rural communities by addressing
issues such as poverty, education, housing and community development.

Job Skills and Training

organizations and make recommendations for funding. Nonprofit organizations

connection to the Areas of Excellence, and contact information. If interested,
