http://www.enterprisecommunity.org The Enterprise Foundation is not an an endowed foundation. While they do offer a limited number of grants to help community-based organizations expand or improve their revitalization efforts, there is not a regular grant cycle or standard proposal. Most of the grants are available only to nonprofits located in cities in which they already have active programs. Contact the Enterprise office nearest you for more information on applying for a grants.

www.wheatridge.org/ Wheat Ridge Ministries is an independent Lutheran charitable organization that provides support for Community Service Ministries impacts the health of people who are at-risk in urban centers and rural communities by addressing issues such as poverty, education, housing and community development. Job Skills and Training

Local Alcoans work within their communities to evaluate organizations and make recommendations for funding. Nonprofit organizations that serve local communities should contact the nearest Alcoa facility by writing a one-page letter describing their mission, nature of request, connection to the Areas of Excellence, and contact information. If interested, Alcoa will notify the requesting organization and invite them to submit more information. The majority of grants fit within the following areas: Conservation and Sustainability, Safe and Healthy Children and Families, Global Education and Workplace Skills, Business and Community Partnerships.
