The resources offered are intended to help provide tools and tips on accessing funding and using communications to build support for programs among local residents, community groups, businesses, and policymakers.

Think creatively as you look at the funding sources. If your program will serve to prevent substance abuse and it happens to be in a library, this money may be available to you. We encourage you to form partnerships with other community organizations or local government agencies so you can apply for the grants together. Never assume that eligible groups know about the grants you find. Contact them and let them know you want to partner.
