The church received an estimated $715,000 in World Ministries Mission Tithes in October, 5% less than the budgeted income for the month. Because of strong contributions in September and August, we are still a little ahead of the budget of $9.8 million for the year. Thank you very much for your faithful giving.

How are we living our mission today?

• Our congregation and staff in Ndot Ikot Eda, Nigeria, brought fresh, clean drinking water to the entire community.
• New Vision Community of Christ, a new congregational plant in Mesa, Arizona, provided community ministry at Mesa’s Child Crisis Center.
• We supported Calgary, Alberta’s Community Kitchen, which provides healthy meals and a place to belong for people who have limited resources.

B. Congregational Ministries Mission Tithes Update: Local

The congregational financial officer should give an update about the congregation’s budget at this time. Highlight positive things that have happened in addition to items that need attention.

From Philippians 4:7 (NRSV): we read: And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
