Karen Engebretson

Karen Engebretson has a Masters of Music in Organ Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music. A native of Kansas City, she has served several area churches over the past 35 years and has enjoyed making music with various groups and high schools as accompanist, choir director, organist, pianist and soloist.  Teaching is a passion for Karen who has a studio of organ, piano and voice students. She is a Staff Organist for the Community of Christ; Parish Organist at Redemptorist Catholic Church; Music Faculty at Bishop Ward High School and Holy Name Elementary School; and Adjunct Faculty at UMKC. She is also the Musical Director for productions with Theatre at Vis.
