Evelyn Mesley

Evelyn Mesley, CAGO, is a native of Independence, Missouri, and serves as organist/choir director of St. James Lutheran Church, where she has been for twenty-eight years.  She has a degree in church music from Graceland College, and is an active member of the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, having served as Chair of Professional Concerns, Youth Committee Chair, Dean and Nominations Chair. Ms. Mesley has sung in Schola Cantorum and has been a featured performer at the “Bachathon” in Kansas City. She is also a certified Orff specialist and teaches music at several private Montessori schools in the Kansas City area.
