Beth Elswick

Beth Elswick teaches undergraduate theory and ear training courses at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She holds the DMA in organ performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas city, the Master of Science in Education (secondary music) and the Bachelor of Science in Education (English and writing) from Southwest Missouri State University, and the Bachelor of Music in organ performance from the University of Arizona. An eclectic writer, she has published articles, reviews, and poetry in diverse publications. Her recording of original compositions for trumpet and organ, Ecclesiastic Music for Trumpet and Organ composed and arranged by Paul Willwerth, was released in July 2000. She is the Director of Music at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church in Overland Park, Kansas.
