participants flying in and out of Kansas City International Airport (MCI). The
cost is $50 roundtrip. The shuttle will leave the Kansas City International
Airport (MCI) terminals at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27. The return trip to
Kansas City International Airport (MCI) will be Saturday, August 2, at 8:00 a.m.
To reserve a space, contact Brad Carr, (641) 784-5233, or e-mail

following information: airline and flight number, time of arrival/departure,
full name, and telephone numbers (day and evening).
Please note that Lamoni is 120 miles from the Kansas City airport and is
approximately a two-and-a-half-hour drive. Keep this in mind when making your
airline and shuttle reservations.
Air-Conditioned Housing

your registration in early if you have a health condition that requires

includes two sheets, one pillowcase, a light blanket, and a towel set. You are
encouraged to bring your own pillow. However, a new pillow can be provided for
an additional $5. Please indicate this need on your registration form.

for class selections in each of the Class Blocks. Classes may be cancelled
due to low enrollment or an instructor becoming unavailable. Some classes
may have limited space available based on classroom space, equipment, or
instructor preference. You are encouraged to enroll early. It is important
for you to select an alternate for each Class Block time period.
Confirmation letters will be sent on receipt of your registration. Notices
of schedule changes will also be sent except for changes that occur within
ten days of the event.
Reading Assignments
You will note that many of the courses offered at this
year’s Congregational LIFE Workshop are requiring students to read texts and
other listed assignments. It is expected that when you enroll for a course,
you will purchase a copy of the texts assigned to your class selections and
complete reading and reflection assignments before class starts. In
addition, each participant is expected to obtain a copy of The Phoenix
Affirmations: A New Vision for the Future of Christianity by Eric Elnes
(2006). ISBN 978-0787985783. This resource will be used during Living Room
Group sessions.
